Internet only deals?

My OH has a PAYG with Orange but wants a smart phone. He wants a contract which allows high internet usage but as he sends few texts and makes even fewer calls, low bundles for these.

Can anyone recommend a good deal for him?

Thanks in advance.

Does he own the smartphone already? If he does, Giff Gaff at 250mins/unlimited texts and web for £10 is a good deal.

If not, maybe look at someone like T-Mobile who unlimited internet (3gb fair use policy I think) on certain tariffs.

Sorry, should have said he doesn't have a smart phone at present. Thanks spikejrt, I am with T-Mobile so maybe they'll do a deal?

Smartphones prices start from below £100 and finish above £500. For contacts phone prices and monthly costs vary accordingly and depend on the term: 12-18-24 months.

You have to be more specific.

I think the fair use is now only 500MB for new contracts.

Don't know about the RAF offer, but for £15 giffgaff (O2) offer 400m+Unltd+Unltd

    Chitter-chatter (t-mobile) offer 600m+500t+Unltd(browsing) for £10.

Ah I see. They might do, but I suspect not on an additional contract. Depending on what he wants, the Orange San Fransisco is meant to be a steal at £99 or so - and you can unlock it online for free.

Checking T-Mobile's site, their truly unlimited internet deals are on 24mth contracts.
