To circumvent the extortionate costs of calling freephone numbers from you mobile you can use the Iphone App "Free080", it is totally free to download and when you call a freephone number that could cost up to 41p per minute to call from your mobile the call is simply routed via a standard UK landline number that will either be included in your bundled minutes or at worst cost you no more than calling a standard UK landline. If you dont have an Iphone simply save the number 01375 82 0800 to your address book as Free080 and before dialing any freephone number just call this entry, when you hear a dialing tone just dial the 0800 number.

I'll stick with GiffGaff, where calls to freephone numbers are free.Stompa0

I know it's arbitary, but Orange and T-Mobile have just reduced the costs of calling 0800/0845 and 0870 numbers.
0800 and similar - 7.4p/min
0845/0870 - 12.4p/minI spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
There is a great website to find out landline equivalents and they have an iPhone App too.
