  • I started to get really fade up with no change in my weight so I have put my scales away for the week and they are not coming out till Friday for the final weigh in. I'll definitely be joinging the october thread anyway.
  • Hello Dragon...you can sign me up for October too please. My weigh in day is Thursday and I only need one more 1lb but I fear it might be elusive:( Had a great meal out on Saturday but went for an hour and a half walk first. Sunday I was going to be really good but I was just SO tired I did not care.I Did not sleep well and had to get up at five to drive my son to the train station. However What I want to know is apparently you have to be in deficit of 2500 calories to loose just 1lb, but after my big meal on Saturday I appear to have put on 3lb which would mean I have over eaten by 7500 calories. :eek:Now it was good but not that good;)

I have loads of marking and stuff to do this week so I am not sure if I will get the chance to do any extra walking. Even more annoying is I find a note book from two years ago and in it I was so upset about being the weight I am now I decided to take up running and now I am pleased to be here cos it is better than the start of September. IYSWIM . Now I am rambling sorry folks. At least I have some new friends to talk to and it will be for a good few months yet methinks!
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D
  • I lost 2.5lb this week bringing my total for the fortnight to a convenient 7lb!

  • Final weigh in for September and boy is it a good one. My weight this week has plummeted! I've not done anything different, ate the same foods as previous weeks, probably done less exercise as we were away at the weekend. On Monday I did begin week 3 of C25k but and raised the resistance on the pilates machine but not by any significant amount. So weight loss time, I think I was 15st 6.5lbs last week, this week I'm 15 1.5lb so 5lbs off! I'm glad I've weighed every day this week otherwise I'd think it was a freak reading lol. That puts me at a 12 and a half pound loss for the month !!!

Hubby has been dieting with me too and he's lost 10lbs this month too. Just thought I'd add it as he won't get any recognition for his hard work.

Can you put this weight as my start weight for October please Dragon xxx
Smashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j

Self indulgent post coming up, feel free to skip by.

Been to see diabetic nurse today, good news :j

    1. I don’t have 13lbs to loose any more, I only have 6lbs to go, :T:T:Tso in theory I might only be here for a couple of months more. (I’ll miss you all)
    2. I don’t have to have any more blood tests till end of November,:T:T then it is likely it will only be 6 monthly to ‘keep an eye on you’ :D
    3. I don’t have to take metformin any more:T:T
    4. As I am still in the ‘at risk’ category, I agreed to and was given a flu jab.

So I am well chuffed, sig changed. :j:j:j:j
