Best way to change Euros into £??

Hi everyone, we have recently got married and have received a large sum of Euros (all my family are from Germany). Can anyone help with what would be the best way to exchange it?

Thanks isica

If it is in cash and you are not in a hurry, you could break it down into smaller amounts and sell it to family, friends, people down the pub, people at work etc for their holiday money, might take a while but the rate would be good.

If you are in a hurry, try: http://travelmoney.moneysavingexpert.com/buy-back/

Today, €4000 would get you about £3515 from Ace FX, although if you can't get to London in person you'd have to deduct about £15 to cover the cost of sending the cash to them by secure delivery.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

thanks that might be an option. Hubby works in London so might be able to pop in one day (not keen on sending my money in the post). It's not urgent want to wait for a decent exchange rate, not sure what's a good one really though. lol
