Ladies - what's normal?

whats normal? I think its what is normal for YOU! if you get a change in your normal amount of discharge then thats something to discuss with GP. but if you have ALWAYS had a lot of discharge its normal for you.
I do have to qualify that though - my 9yr old gd has an excessive amount of discharge from her vagina and the paediatricians are flummoxed! I suggested to my daughter that she be referred to a gynocologist - and daughter thinks thats next step.0 -
Thanks girls.
Lol @ Lotus-etaer!
Will book the appointment, prob a fair old waiting list. Will try to remember to let everyone know what they say!
Having said that, things seem to be settling down over the last week or so - as I said I just finished my first period after coming off the pill so maybe it was something to do with the pill?
Have a good one.0 -
Just an update on this - I went to the gynaecologist last week and they found a growth on my cervix. They think that's what is causing the discharge, so I'm having it removed early next year.
I'm glad I went after all that!0 -
good luck, always worth getting checked out. xx
Just by the by its 'cm' on pregnancy forums and you mention your cm in detail to strangers lol, theres no embarrassment after a while
