Today the line was crossed between Holiday Relaxation and Unemployed Torpor. It has been getting progressively more difficult to motivate myself to do anything, let alone anything productive.

Ditto - idled the day away in the garden today and I so wanted to get on top of Eb*y mountain - relying on it this month to keep out of the OD...................

Mr B it might be time for an Eb*y session..............

    From Sept 4th:

"Final value fees will be charged based on the combined value of the item listed plus postage. For example, if an item sells for £20 with postage cost of £4, the final value fee will be charged based on the combined value of £24. This will not apply if the listing offers collection only. "

Eb*Y - they give with one hand and grab with the other:(

Veering off the path of righteousness at an alarming rate. McDonalds for breakfast, a visit to the cinema and an afternoon where wine is winning out over ebaying - doh! Have got 6 items back up for sale and at this rate might well end the day with 10. Oh well, there's always tomorrow to pick myself up again.

Today I had/have a whole bunch of tasks. Maybe writing them down will help me focus cos the plot is well and truly lost at the moment.

    - Remove desk/chair from DS's room - DONE
    - Rearrange DD's room - DONE but it's still a tip, so
    - Tidy DD's room - DONE (sort of)
    - Remove giant box of ebay material from my wardrobe which meant my clothes all hung funny and sapped my will to live - DONE moved downstairs.
    - Sort out Porch - All porch items removed and then put back when I realised there was nowhere else for them to go.
    - Sort out Understairs Cupboard - Cleared out entire thing - but then had to put everything back cos nowhere else etc, etc. Swapped one ebay box for another.
    - Put stuff from Porch / Understairs Cupboard into Shed - Shed full to bursting one again, have one box to put it in but that will then be at full capacity. DONE - box now in rendering shed utterly inaccessible for anything.
    - Hoover upstairs - DONE
    - Mop Floor - Am going to throw the mop javelin-styley into the back recess of the shed. Will then be able to use the shed excuse for not doing it.
    - Cut lawn - Now impossible unless I use scissors. Lawnmower at least 30 minutes of shed tetris away from accessibility.
    - Weed - As above.
    - Charge up kids' electric toys - Sorry kids but Daddy has filled the shed with crap and now can't get to anything.
    - Relax - this is wine-related and so will have to wait until I have done the station run to pick up my princesses later.
    - Get showered and shaved - am now clean. Shaving can wait til tomorrow. Mrs B likes the rugged look. She's going to have to.
    - Sort out paperwork - Can't do paperwork- it's sunny.
    - Sort out hell of cables behind TV - that can wait til Spring. As Autumn approaches the faint whiff of burning electricals adds a country cottage logfire ambience to our family room

Once I get all that done then the only thing left to do will be
    - Drink at least one bottle of wine

De-lurking from Mr Bloater's thread which has given me many a laugh over the last few months since I discovered it, but i had to see what the sloblady thread was all about and have just frittered away a good hour or two while England have fought their way back into the 4th test, laughing my head off at this thread. Much cheaper than therapy, having a laugh at these threads.
