CAR HIRE-Mauritius, Any good local companies??

Dear MSErs,
Have been looking for car hire. Need at least an estate for 2 weeks. It is DH's birthday, so ideally would like something even nicer.
All the usual companies, car hire 3000, holiday autos etc are coming up at £1000. I found a local Mauritan one called Maki Car hire, who do an estate for about £500. DO you think they are trustworthy? Can anyone advise please??
