ok, 2 weeks ago i bought a Barcelona from argos. sku: 518/7045

special offer 6 months free internet when you buy this mobile phone. Offer ends 20 January 2012.

but i have not had it. orange know nothing about the offer, and today I went to argos to get what I wanted, they tell me its not them, but orange who apply the offer.

4 times i called orange cs and none of them know anything.

argos told me the orange shop has to enable it.
i went to the orange shop also. then knew nothing, and made a few fone calls. again, a blank.

so went back to argos, but again, they said orange.

What can be done now? i feel like just taking the lot back for money back as they are not supplying what was offered, but they have some silly excusion policies with mobiles. as the handset is not faulty.

They can stick their policies .... you know where.

    "Give me my money back!"

The first point is "As described". It certainly is not as described. Argos (not you) must either sort this out with orange (and they can easily do this if they want) or give you your money back. Alternatively they have to pay you for 6 months of free internet with Orange.

As above, I'd take it back under SOGA (or does this come under Sale of Goods and Services). Careful, they might try to claim they can't refund the £10 airtime you had to buy with it. Unless you've started using it then you should be entitled to this back too as part of the package.

Download and print this (from this site); it'll really help you know what your rights are, irrespective of Argos' policy or anything their staff say to object...
