thx but i'm no longer with costco and was before i'd heard about the euro regulations extending the 12 months... now its just put me off for good from tefal and the thought of having to stand watching it for half an hour for when (not if) it bursts into flames doesn't appeal...

Lastly if I buy this, do you guys recommend I take out insurance with it in-case it does smoke after a few years?

Currys do insurance for £27. It covers mechanical breakdown and accidental damage.

I never do, I just check every now and then that the food is okay. Like I said previously, had it for 20 months

I bought a black one last night through Quidco at 'Home & Cook'.
It was £199.00, there is a code on the site for £60 off, free P&P AND a free tefal frying pan thrown in!
    So total cost of £139.00
    Bargain I think?
Had an email saying its been dispatched today, very happy with that.
Quidco has tracked at £8.40 already.
Also I've heard the black one doesn't catch fire like the white one does?? Will see I guess?

Another update: just taken a look on ebay, the broken bits on the unit can be sold as spare parts and they seem to be sought after and selling!
So luckily I was to lazy to throw it out last night and have been out shopping all day today.
Ebay it is then with the bits and pieces. new one getting cheaper by the minute.

We went through 3 actifrys, each one going pop! We missed having chips and umm'd & arrr'd over a new Actifry or a Phillips Airfryer. We went for the Phillips Airfryer but we don't use it as much as the Actifry.

Purchased one in April for £119.99 from Amazon.

The curry's offer is not as good as it looks.

I bought one and I am alarmed at the noise which the machine makes, also the quality of the paddle appears to be very poor. Would I be able to return it due to it being very noisy?

The code is: HC66776 and only works on the Actifry.

The site is called 'Home & Cook', the code was on the same page as the actual black Actifry.
I just entered it before payment stage and it gave me the discount & free frying pan.
Don't forget to go through Quidco!
