Amazon seller suspenshion - linked account

Hi,
I have received an e-mail through amazon suspending my selling account as they say its linked to another blocked amazon selling account however I only have the one account and have not had another one previously.
I have tried to appeal but it got declined.
They wont give me a reason how its linked or who its linked to.
The only way I can think of how it could be linked is by the computer - its a 2nd hand computer. I've had the account for 5 months and they choose to suspend me now for something I havent done.
My feedback is all positive and my order defect rate is 0.
Is there someone I can contact at amazon, by email or phone to receive a human responce, to tryto sort out any misunderstanding?
Thank you in advance.

Just to bump up the thread, does anyone have a clue as to what I can do. I only have one account, the one i was using and they are saying its linked to a reviously blocked account but I dont know who that is or a way I can properly appeal by getting a human responce and not a computer generated automatic type e-mail.0

Amazon will probably just ignore you now, they make ebay look like angels. You could try phoning them, some customer services people are helpful but it is not unknown for them to actually refuse point blank to talk to you if you have been suspended.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi,
I'm not an expert on this subject. But looking at other forums, many people have had problems with Amazon suspending or blocking their seller accounts on flimsy grounds. Freezing payment of funds for 90 days. Causing great distress to honest business sellers.
The linked account accusation could be something as trivial has the person who last owned your computer also held Amazon account or you have checked your stock list on another person's computer etc.
I think where you go from here depends on how important it is to you to continue selling on Amazon. Are there any other avenues to market you could use as an alternative. From what other people who have had this issue have said it is very difficult to get an account reinstated once it has been blocked. You tend to get an automated response, rather than dealing with another human being. Fairness doesn't really come into it.
1. You could telephone amazon.co.uk and ask for seller support department (would like to speak to a supervisor) tel: 0800 496 1081
2. Write to community-help@amazon.co.uk

Thing is I was selling a fair bit on amazon - 300 to 500 pounds a day roughly. They are holding about 3k of my money for 90 days. I'm not too worried about the hold on the funds as I'm sure I will et it eventually but it was such a good selling platform, much better than ebay and I could sell things for more. I'm selling toys so not really a high risk catorgery. However the people who had the shop before me used at least one of the same suppliers as I use now and I'm using their computer as they left it in the shop, so I thorght I may as well use it, which I think is my downfall.
I'll send them an e-mail now to that e-mail address, all other e-mail addresses I have for them are just rejecting emails. The strange thing is when I e-mail their american e-mail addresses i'm getting a human responce but its just saying e-mail the uk staff by logging into my account by clicking on help. The UK part of amazon don't seem to like responding to e-mails personally. I'll try to phone them tomorrow morning if that number is open weekends.0 -
Ah, if you are selling the same sort of goods from the same geographic address (ie the shop) then that is link enough for Amazon as they will just assume you are the same sellers who have just re registered having had problems before.
Still worth phoning them rather than emailing though, however they keep very short hours so you may well have to wait until Tuesday now to get a real person.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've tried the e-mail last night but it bounced back saying they dont check that e-mail and telling me to contact using the forms on their site which I havent got anywhere with apart from a computer says no responce.
I'm trying to search my e-mail account to see if there is an actual person I can contact. I'm going to phone them on Monday.
I've worked out that on my sales that I'm doing at them moment, if this level continues then I would be paying just under 25,000 pounds in commession to Amazon which must mean something to them.0 -
Hi,
I think you can be reasonably certain your problems stem from being linked to the previous business owner/using same computer. I would try to get together relevant evidence of business transfer to use in appeal process with Amazon.0 -
The problem I have is sending all that information to Amazon - I can send lease documents to amazon and supplier information but I dont have an e-mail for them. If I click the appeal button there is no way to attach the documents. I'm not quite sure how to do it.
I'm thinking of asking for a direct e-mail for them but I doubt they will provide it as they dont seem to want any e-mails circulating on the internet. They are a little hard to talk to.0 -
Just a little update - I phoned them, they refused to let me speak to a supervisor and said they are all in a meeting. I was told the seller performance only respond by e-mail.
I'm not quite sure where to go from here. I'm planning on calling back later on today to speak to a supervisor but she said the call centre staff don't have the access to reinstate accounts only the seller performance who are only contactable via e-mail.
I have a feeling the seller performance are too busy to look at cases properly and its basically a computer says no situation.0
