Currently on the Primus Saver 2 package with Broadband and very happy so far with the level of service I've received. I had a recent billing dispute which took me through to an agent in the glasgow office. At the end of the call the agent asked me If i was happy with the package i was on and my latest bills.
I was told at this point that they have cheaper packages available on a 12 month basis which have just came out. Details were rather vague - £1.49 for evening and weekend calls - 1.4p during the day with some form of a rebate scheme. I have asked for some details to be posted through.
Sound interesting and possibly cheaper than the Saver 2 package???
Worth a phone call - 0800 036 0094

Primus Saver Option 2 is free and gives free evening and weekend calls of up to 90 minutes (redial to avoid charges) to UK 01/02 numbers.
1899 or 18185 both give calls of unlimited duration to UK 01/02 numbers for 4p each.
Why start paying 1.4p/minute for those daytime calls when you can have them for 4p each?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Well this is true Heinz but this package is a cash back package - Think it's £5 every 3 months back onto your account - Its free money basically!!0

For example, say the tariff plan is £3 per month which they will take from your account but every three months they pay you cashback of £4.50 for the quarter (£1.50 a month) this still means you are paying £1.50 for the exact same package as Primus Saver Option 2 but it's totally free with Primus Saver.
Heinz' option is still the cheaper option.0 -
My mistake. It appears it's a special offer along the same lines as they did last time. To make this clear I've started a new thread here with the same title as the last thread.
Thanks for mentioning this mcbindy.0
