bought a tesco usb cordless internet phone, can I change it to skype

Apparently its a model FF128, and I must say it looks great. All my mates are on skype so I was wondering do I have to use the tesco installation disc or can I download skype and would it work? Hope I haven't bought the wrong thing, friend said it should be ok its just hardware I need to change the software but she couldn't tell me how to do this!!!!!

I have a tesco internet phone that I puchased think it was £10 I have installed it on my laptop and also have skype that was previously installed.

If I fire up skype with the internet phone plugged into a usb port and use the on screen dialer for skpe with my mouse the phone works as a speaker and microphone.

Went away over xmas and found a few unsecure networks that let skype connect to make all my xmas calls !!

Have you tried calling with skyp ewith the phone plugged in ?
