Ironically my last flat was like an explosion in a paint factory! The LL had painted the hall a vivid yellow with bright blue gloss door frames. The bathroom was navy, the bedroom purple, the lounge bright green and the kitchen bright yellow lol Thankfully I didnt have to restore it to that when I left
I think Id have been tempted just to forfeit my deposit lol
Mind you this is the same LL who told me it was down to me to get rid of the mouse problem and the fact HER fridge/freezer died (and white goods were part of the rental) that she wasnt replacing it....0 -
God, I wish you had been my landlord. The tenant has had a reduced rate of rent up till now, plus a clean new place without having to plead with you to get it done. If you decide to sell that's your choice surely we all know renting is dead money. I can't see why he'd have room to complain. My landlord did nothing despite the place desperately needing it.0
