hello all, thanks DNMS for starting the thread early doors
Have had an Ok day. Had to buy more fuel.. (grr) and then spent £2.64 on lunch but that's it, so really pleased am managing to stay focussed on cutting the discretionary spend.
One thing I have also cut down on is now getting my newspaper fix online. Much cheaper! Was spending £2 on a Sunday, £1 on a weekday etc. Soon mounted up. Now I pay £8.66 (weird amount but not complaining!) for an entire month. Good value.
Charged phones at work. Checked bank online. Made a PAD to pesky CC debt. Liking this PAD thing, a good motivator. I should also get my Holiday house deposit back soon which is £500..eek. Didn't realise the scale of the deposit until after we booked. Won't make that mistake again.. I will put that against the CC too.
OH back from fortnight away for work tomorrow. Can't wait. Me and kids have miss him loads..plus
it's a drag doing everything and being the sole responsible adult;-)
Think that's all folks. Hoping for a NSD tomorrow as am off work.
Have a great day tomorrow!

The deposit was for a whole Halloween outfit - a black satin corset covered in handmade orange/black fabric flowers , a matching black satin puffball skirt and a black satin detachable train. The flowers are being made by the customer to cut costs (but I still have to sew them onto the corset)! Luckily she's given me plenty of notice as some people decide a week beforehand that they need a fancy dress costume made
That's good news
Oh wow that sounds awesome! You'll have to post a pic of the finished product x:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
