When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Morning gang  hope everyone is well & happy - the weekend is in sight - hurrah! :j I'm up even earlier than usual as I have to go to a meeting in London for 10. I really should be out of the shower by now & getting ready opps! :o I think washing my hair is out of the window now...

Today:
  • checked banking
  • went through cc statement & paid it off in full
  • take note of mileage - I'll get about £45 for diving to London
  • need to get petrol on the way - even bigger opps I meant to get it last night but forgot
  • run & a swim after work
  • list a couple of things on ebay tonight
  • list a couple of things on freecycle
  • brekkie, lunch & dinner from stores
ok that's all for me, might be some more but I will be happy if I get everything on that list done :) enjoy ur day everyone x

Good morning, It’s a rather overcast day here today.
DNMS – thanks for starting us off today.

    My list for today:
    • Catch up with emails done
    • Do available surveys done
    • Daily clicks done
    • Check one poll done 90p
    • Bath dd done
    • Quick shower done
    • Make bottles for dd done
    • Get DH to have a look at the washing machine as the part arrived this morning done Got a load in at the moment to see if it works
    • Catch up with laundry
    • Check pure profile done 15p
    • Check pigsback done
    • Work hard – lots to get done before the end of this month
    • Start thinking about work for September and look into what is available
    • Make appointment to get hair done
    • Collect ds from school done
    • Look out old school uniform and list it online
    • Do some course work
I think that is everything that needs to get done today.

I got off to a good start this morning, however I now have a serious lack of motivation, as had a blazing row with DH before he left for work. I think I will walk to pick up ds and take the long way round so hopefully clear my head and get focused again.
    Aiming to get Debt Free.
