Transfer question

Is it possible to transfer a Mini (stocks and shares) ISA with only £1500 paid in so far this year to a Mini cash ISA and be topped up?

    No.

But as they are seperate and if you don't have a Mini Cash ISA so far this year you can ut £3000 into the Cash ISA. If you don't want the Stocks & Shares ISA you can withdraw the money.

so are you saying, just to clarify, that a seperate mini cash Isa can be opened with another provider and the full £3000 be deposited this tax year whilst the £1500 remains in the mini stock and shares ISa

    many thanks

You could transfer the shares ISA to a cash fund.
