Subscribed to this thread. You really are an inspiration Jenn. My DS is 6 and probably has AS (still going through DX process). I love the way that you are parenting him :)

Hope your date went well tonight!

    Thanks to everyone.

Date was very nice...we had dinner, lots of wine and watched comedy shows on the box. Lots of chat. I've no idea where we'll go from here...he definately doesn't like the "no hair" which I can do sod all about but he'll be there for SB and that's all that matters at the end of the day.

I really like him tho. I feel a bit guilty/sad/conscious that he's just coming back into my life and we've been upping the ante more and more and now the poor soul is having to deal with the ugly reality. This isn't the juncture where "cool" is going to be my strong point so I suppose the chips will fall one way or the other quite quickly.

    Tomorrow:
    • Strip and change my bed.
    • Buy PJs at M&S
    • Pack hospital bag.
    • Charge and Pack Kindle :D
    • Print Title dispositions.
    • Witness and sign Will
    • Witness and sign depositions
    • Witness and sign POA
    • Take friend to bank
    • Post all docs to solicitors
    • Visit friend in respite care
    • Book taxi for hospital.
    • Get money out for SB and for taxi home.
    • Pick up parcel from post office.
This time tomorrow I should be as high as a kite!

Glad the date went well and at the end of the day if he's worth it he'll stick about through thick and thin xxx
good luck with everything and hope everything goes well xx
  • Hi I've been reading your diary and think you are amazing, how lucky SB is to have you. I'm sure amongst all this its hard to see how amazing you are being because I'm guessing you feel you have no choice but to put things in place for SB but believe me not everyone puts others first in these kind of situations.

Wishing you well and a speedy recovery and I hope the new year brings you more light relief and things to cherish and enjoy, take care x
