My wife has a credit card, but her name on the card is spelt incorrectly, dispite advising of this over the telephone. Is it possible to get out of paying the outstanding amont because of this error.
Thanks

Yes, plus she will be able to claim £10,000 compensation, call them now0 -
One of my credit card bills arrived, and the balance was 0.00 how do I get this written off ?
You have been a victim of mis-sselling as you were promised a "credit" card which entails a "credit" balance.
Ring up one of the many companies out there (check they are Ministry of Justice approved) and claim your compensation!0 -

My pet insurance came in the pet's name Gas instead of Gus, can I just stop paying it?
No one told me about the dangers of smoking until years later, can I sue someone?
I thought the "minimum payment" on my credit card bill was all I had to pay to write it off
Lol, OP
Perhaps every time she got the card out to use it, as she handed it over she should have snatched it back and said "can't use this one, it's in the wrong name...."
Shouldn't feed the OP but just shake my head at posts like this!Spreadsheet-obsessed.0 -
