Policy is not changing for the next 2 or 3 weeks but is changing because of Abuse, but the word is it will change to a system very similar to ASDA - Double the difference and a small value gift card. Keeping the item free will go.

A change is definately underway as the refund policy is no longer listed on the Tesco Website!
  • Sorry, mispelt that I meant Mitt is a Chicken Ship!

If I don't miss my guess, it's not been on the web site for a couple of months. I don't think that it's fair to use this as "evidence" that it will be changed.

I mean no offense, but unless someone has some valuable input regarding the end of R&R that's actually come from a policy maker at T head office, there really is no point in posting here.

If those who are posting news of the policy demise are T workers, then it just serves to increase the chances that people will go looking for misprices in the expectation that they won't be able to after the 12th Never 2007. What you might call counter productive.

If those posting the news are just "having a laugh", perhaps you ought to put your time to more productive use?
  • I love this forum, it has more wit and humour than the BBC, and this is free!! There are some bloody intelligent people on here making comments and jokes and I appreciate being able to mix with such people.

unfortunately there are some of the opposite, Bluey etc bringing the tone down, perhaps to the standard of a school bus stop!

  • OK who left the door open to the Mr T's nut house and sent them all to troll on here.:D:D
  • If we leave bluey alone he might go away.. if he wants to be overcharged by Mr T then so be it.. more money then sense obviously.

If he wants to buy straightners for £150 and they should be £99 then let him.. we'll just pick them up free of Mr T when we've acted correctly on their OWN policy..THEY put it in place as they were confident that THEY had prices correct.

Its like the talktalk policy.. "if we charge more then BT on our bills will give you £1000." They have put it in place as they know its virtually impossible to do.. well believe one has done it but think that took a lot of doing..

Tesco need to think harder on their policy if they are gonna put something in place, not one that a 5 year old could crack!!

Keep up the good work fellow Raiders!
  • Errr.. unsure if this is the right place, but Simple shower gel is on BOGOF. Shelf price is £1.89 and £1.99 comes off at the tills :) Passing it on!

just out of interest has anyone else noticed the smaller policy details appearing at the CS desks and also at tills - Ive never seen these before (heard people speak about them ) But over the last week they seem to be appearing everywhere.
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T
