  • Well, if Mr T is so bad at changing little SEL labels that have ready made channels available for them to slot into, do we really think that they will be on the ball in replacing blue boards or putting new stickers over the existing ones?

    c'mon! :rotfl:

I wonder.....if they were going to change it, would they have mentioned that r&r was being stopped? I'm seeing Tesco as running a massive ad campaign to inform the nation that 'double the difference' or whatever it is they might come up with is all new and exciting etc rather than them just sliding the change in.

That's an interesting point. It's common practice for this operation to replace a good offer with a much worse one and highlight it. It's on big Yellow shelf talkers all the time and it's banking on the majority of people not noticing.
  • I do like the idea that Tesco has changed their policy, but because they've forgotton to take the old Blue signs down we still get R&R anyway!!!

    I believe this is irony??!!!

Hi, Does anyone know if you can take something back if you have been over charged a week ago? I bought some Turkey rashers which had 2 for 3 pounds on them when I checked my reciept last night it hadn't come off! Don't ask what made me re-check as I always check as I leave!

[Got some lovely Beef joints last night as well!]

If the packaging has the 2 for £3 offer printed on it and you still have the receipt, there shouldn't be a problem. I've had similar experiences with games, books and food.

I presume take them back for r&r as opposed to because you don't want them!

I think you may struggle with the week old turkey rashers, they could turn round and say no but as they are a "fresh product" they shouldn't take them back unless there is a problem with them like gone off before they should or mouldy. You could just end up walking away I have returned stuff for a 2nd refund (they keep it) and the guy noticed the overcharge and offered to refund me the difference as it had been a few days since I bought it. It was a tough one as the guy insisted refunding the difference I had to reiterate I wanted to return the game for a full refund.
