What? A warning, and I wasnt even involved........................lol
but back on topic
Mr T certainly seems to be improving, today I decided to do a bit of couponing and look for some misprices(havent bothered with the latter for around 7 weeks).
The former was quite good but the latter was a non event.........theres no need to change the policy if they are going to be this good..........but assuming Sir Terry knows how forgetful they can be........I suppose from his point of view, there is a need, after all.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

It occurred to me today that if they get better with their prices, that it may actually make removing the policy even more attractive to them.
My reasoning being that, as I understand it (admittidly from posts here in the past) that the policy was more or less forced on Mr T, due to the large number of mispricing going on, by Trading Standards or as a sweetner from Mr T to stop people complaining to Trading Standards in large numbers.
If their pricing is better, then the level of possible complaints will be low and the "risk" of removing the policy is therefore also reduced.
Of course, we are all making the assumption that each store has actually got better. It may well be that the number of people actively looking out for R&R's has increased to the point where individually there is only the odd one here and there, but collectively (to CS in each store) the position is just the same.
Hope that makes some sort of sense!"Life was easier when I didn't have a clue"0 -

If the change is inthe pipe line, then its too late now I fear, to hope of a "pull out"
TE started(i believe) this rumour/promise/discussion way back in Novevember, he was adamant this was going to happen, "in the New Year"
Since then his attitude has changed and said the other day on EPH, that basically, it wasnt in the near future/pipeline.
Other people supposedly "in the know", have said it is happening soon.
Spa2k and Constantine have both said, they have heard nothing.
CS staff up and down the country have been heard to mention it.
A few stores have altered the policy board to reflect the change.
If CS and policy board changes hadnt mentioned "double the difference", i may have believed it was just rumour, but because of the constant mentioning of DD then IMHO, that is what is about to happen.....when of course......is anyones guess.
So the best advice is(again imho)....Just forget it, and fill your boots whenever you can.Couponing....."every little hurts"

Don't you think that it is since EPH started that Tesco started to get better?
It can't be just coincedence (sp?). Their lists are so easy to print out, and therefore distribute around Tesco stores that they have inadvertantly made life easy for Mr. T0 -
