HSBC zzzzZZZZZZ

Feels like waiting for ever! 2 weeks into their "upto 4 weeks" for a settlement figure

Has anyone actually recieved a settlement figure from HSBC yet? Just wondered if they are being tight with payments or paying whats expected.

    I'm still waiting for the confirmation letter which the FOS said I would receive, Had the phone call 2 weeks ago regarding HSBC claim

    Got the 'upheld' letter, just waiting on the amount now. They said on the phone it would take 2-3 days once they recieve our signature on the settlement to pay out....

    Not yet. A letter saying it was being upheld and that a figure would be provided in UPTO four weeks.

    I claimed PPI successfully from HSBC a couple of years ago - I just kept hounding them on the phone till they gave me a figure - it was my money afterall! : )

    I'm still waiting for HSBC to confirm whether I was mis sold PPI - I put the questionaire on June 18th 2011. They have written 1 letter saying they would be in touch by 18th August but I've heard absolutely nothing from them.
    I have sent another letter to them threatening the omsbudsman but still nothing !!!

    June 2011!! My claim dates back to August 2010! Its taken them nearly exactly a year to the day!

  • I started my claim against HSBC last November and received the upheld letter on 11th August saying that they would be writing to me within four weeks to set out a settlement figure. Haven't heard anything yet but the clocks ticking. 8th September is their deadline.
  • I made a claim at the end of may, have today had the letter stating they arnt saying they were wrong but are going to settle my complaint in the next four weeks.

    Will have to wait and see...

    I owe them lots of money so I know they will just put itagainst that figure but its still good news

    Anyone had an offer following this type of letter yet?
