I think you would be very safe buying anything for him to start with. My 8 year old son has been building sets and from a mixed bucket for years now. My 3 year old daughter is building all kinds of wild and wacky structures with our big bucket of randoms!

Looking for any good offers anyone sees on the Lego friends sets - had seen them on Sainsburys website in the sale but they were out of stock so have just done another search to see if they are back in stock and cant even find them ?? If I find any on my travels I will post them too

Just ordered Lego Minotaurus Game 3841 for £7.99 at Tesco Direct and also in the 3 for 2 so even cheaper!

just incase anyone in south wales is looking for the monster fighter set and excavator set from tescos they had quite a few of both in llansamlet store in swansea today. hope that helps someone, if you go today to the 3for 2 is still on.
