The set at smyths is £32.99 so would be £22.99 with the voucher

I was half asleep then :o

    Overpriced store

Trying to keep under the £20 mark. If only I could find a voucher to use. Saw a £5 of £15 spend mentioned online but not seen the voucher anywhere.

If going from Smythes, I would go for 5508. The Lego site generally has good honest reviews of the boxes too http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/LEGO-Deluxe-Brick-Box-5508

Thank you. Not much choice for the budget I have I guess.

Sainsbury's have their half term sale tomorrow on - usually the stock is a mystery until the day. It should run all day but best to get there early - some stores opened earlier then their advertised opening times but not all. Not all toys will be 50% off this year but usually lots of bargains. There is a rumour that it might be back on line this year (been instore only for the last 2 years) - again no time yet (midnight or 6am look favourite).

Or you could register on camel, camel - sorry can't remember where the link is - this will let you know if the price comes down on amazon by email alert - really useful as often special prices are very time limited. I got my Kenwood Chef like this with huge discount last year.

Have also seen them cheap at Tesco in the past - keep searching - I am sure there will be more codes to come.

Oops Boots - got any friends looking for similarly priced things? If in stock get on 3 for 2 - if you can combine this with one of their shopping events where you get an extra bunch of points (worth a tenner approx then you are quids in).

  • Hello,

Just spotted this Duplo box on offer at £12.50 instead of £25 at Debenhams (am not allowed to post the link, but if you go to gifts and toys and click on toys sales and offers, it's in there!)

Remember that there are still a couple of high profile sales to come before Christmas so don't lose heart :)

Also set up the amazon alert as that is a great tool for snaffling a few cheapies here and there before they run dry and go back to full price.

    Good luck :j

Unable to find stock anywhere  Do you think there is any chance it will come back into stock later? My son loves both Lego and Star Wars and this would make the perfect Chrismas present for him.
