I'm looking for a decent box of bricks to build freely with. I will be buying it from here since I have a voucher for £10. Does anything on there catch your eye lego experts? Thank you for reading. :)

Has anyone seen any of the winter village sets on offer anywhere? The cheapest I can find them is on lego site at full price and I find it hard to pay full price for anything! On amazon they're all more expensive and I can't find them anywhere else.
    Thanks.

I know what you mean s-mum :( I have been mentally building and playing with it myself. Its on ebay, bricklink etc, but once you factor in postage, it works out the same or more - and lego have double VIP points and a free cake promo bag at the mo, so technically it would be better to get from there

think as it is this years crimble exclusive, it is going to be hard to find cheaper - at least until it goes in the sale :(

these are 2 other crimble sets though, which can be found cheaper with hunting :) esp now lego have re-released them etc

oh and the lego site have the filled baubles due for sale price from 1st nov too (£10+ on ebay)- though tempted to make my own along with the actual brick balls a la st pancras :D

p.s 2013 friends list (no pics yet) available on bricklink s-mum :):)
  • Just keep your eyes peeled for the winter village sets- it's a bit early for them to reduce I think.

I got the Village toy shop for £20 from John Lewis two years ago, which enraged my also-Lego-obsessed neighbour :j :rotfl:, and the WV Bakery half price-ish last year from Lego. I think that buying this year for next may be the mindset....

Def cheaper after Christmas, although the ones going into the sale are the ones that were released the year or 2 before. I picked up the Toy Shop in the sale the year after it was out, for around 25 quid, and the same for the Bakery after christmas last year. I was waiting until after this Christmas to get the Post Office, but couldn't wait, and picked it up from Amazon.it for around £30.
Will wait until next Christmas before getting the Cottage given it is so much more expensive!
