Hi everyone, i am trying to make a lego table for my son to play at and am really struggling to find the base plates I want - I think I've tried everywhere - all the obvious places. any ideas? I am looking for 32x32 pin bases in blue, green, red and yellow to make a table similar to the kidkraft one and hopefully save myself a fair bit of cash. Thanks xx

Looking for some advice please.
I want to buy some lego for my sons 4th birthday. He does not have any lego at all so this will be his first. Could anyone recommend a starter kit (if their is such a thing) that would get him going with some base plates maybe. I have looked in argos and seen some small boxes not sure if I should just buy that.
Its so expensive so any help would be appreicated.

Hi Ive got 3 and 4 year old boys and started them off with Lego City and also the bumper pack from tesco when it was on offer http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003ZOUBB6/ref=asc_df_B003ZOUBB66159854?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&!!!!!googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B003ZOUBB6
and a couple of baseplates to begin to build a wall or house!
I think to start with the small sets like the police car, boat etc are just enough.
http://direct.tesco.com/q/s/search.lego+city.aspx?Ns=P_HIDDEN_Stock_Available%7C1%7C%7CP_SORT_Price&btnResultSort.x=25&btnResultSort.y=10 I have had to build most of it but they have both enjoyed helping.0
