Cat Mess in garden

Hello,

I am sick of cat mess in my garden and think it's about time that cat owners are made responsible for it. Please sign this petition for cat owners for be subject to the same laws as dog owners and help the millions of people who suffer from cats fouling in their gardens.

No chance that that will be passed as law. You can't control where a cat goes and I am sorry to the people that get annoyed but the only way this will change is if every cat becomes a house cat which is impossible.

If you had a cat, how would you stop yours from going in other gardens? Impossible. Sorry

Wow that is an exact copy of my cat. Now I know what she was doing in her 5 years before I got her.:)
  • I think its a brilliant idea, I wish cat owners would wise up to the fact that not everyone wants cat krap in their garden.
Be happy, it's the greatest wealth :)

Sorry but I too think it should be cat owner's responsibility to make sure their cats do not cause nuisance (of any sort) to their neighbours - and it comes from someone who has 6 cats herself.
If you had a cat, how would you stop yours from going in other gardens? Impossible. Sorry

    Simple:

    http://www.mycatfence.co.uk/photos.php

    and many others.

Why should people who do not keep cats have to spend money to cat proof THEIR gardens to stop other cats coming in and crapping there?

Seriously - I love cats, ALL cats BUT lets be reasonable and decent here.

What will you do when someone gets fed up toa point of hurting your cat?

Yes, some of my cats do go out but I have never had any complaints from anyone around here and everyone knows they are my cats so could easily tell me if there wa a problem.

All my cats pee/poo indoors wher I clean up after them - they are MY pets and my responsibility.

If I ever get a complaint - I will deal with it accordingly.

    Everyone else should do.

    Rant over.. sighhhh

Call the police, rspca, whoever. It is against the law to hurt a cat.

Where did the other "Cat Mess in Garden" thread go? The one in Praise, Vents and Warnings. I was having a good debate in there apart from the two trolls. Couldn't they have just deleted the trolls comments instead of heavy handed deleting of a whole thread.
