    The minimum term cannot end in September, as the contract commenced in November 2010. I assumed an 18 or 24m contract-probably a high-end smartphone.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    No, but September may be the point when they assume the contract holder has defaulted. They'll close the account and issue a big final bill for the missed payments and the remaining value of the contract.
