Car Hire in Spain, What extras are reccommended and what aren`t?

I`ve had a quote via Holiday Autos and Atlas choice.. both ask for £30 excess waiver insurance.. Yet it states that excess waiver insurance is included in the price.

Is it advisable or are they trying to fleece extra ££££`s

I booked with Atlas myself earlier today as they were cheapest - I didn't bother with any of the extras, depends how risk averse you are really.

In the end I went through my company discount site to Holiday Autos and got a 4 Door Corsa for a week with Cancelation Waiver and Standard Excess waiver plus 2nd driver for £122

Just a couple of things to remember when driving in Spain is that hiviz jackes should be in the car (were you can reach them i.e. hung on back of front seats) not in the boot and if you need to wear glasses to drive you need to have TWO pairs with you (i.e. a spare pair).
