I only don't like the fact that with Viking the VAT added really does WHOP up the price as even though TCB are refunding peoples postage if they went through them it is in fact MORE than £2.90 as they add VAT on the postage costs as well and you have to watch they don't pop the 'insurance' payment on as well , so all the items I got weren't 'as cheap' as I initially thought once the VAT addition had been added to the order!

Good point. TCB are offering to pay back £2.90 but actual postage costs were about £3.50 (with VAT added). So, TCB should be revising their position - again... There's only one comment on their blog/apology so far, and that's saying the same thing - they owe people £3.48 not £2.90.

UPDATE! - they've changed it to £3.48 now - so that's alright then.

WOW! Thanks for that - Thats fair enough then! x

( wish I'd ordered throught TCB before 11.50am now , or any time that weekend - I NEARLY did but obviously without the free P&P the items I wanted would have been around a fiver anyway so not much of a saving compared to getting the free P&P / P&P refunded which none of us knew was going to happen! LOL )
  • I placed an order yesterday with viking ordered two bags for the inlaws and a some free choccys i never put a code in for free delivery but when i checked my paypal this morning they have deducted the postage so i dont know what has happened there i was quite happy to pay postage so i see it as a bonus :-)

  • when you reg there is a ticked box for portection you have to untick if you dont want it. but if you contact them and tell them you dont want protection they should give you it back
oh crap. I didnt see that at all.
does this mean I will be charged ppi and how much is it?

I have told loads of friends about this including a very skint sister so I hope she doesnt get charged too:(
Capital one was £1000.00 now £0.00:j
    Barclaycard was £250.00 now £190. 00
Asda credit card was £500.00 now £0.00:j
Aim to be credit card free by December 2012... Mostly done
  • It has now tracked with p&P on topcashback so fingers crossed, a pack or batteries and box of celebrations for less than a pound :j
Always on the hunt for a bargain.
  • I now have fifteen tubs of these, started to pay postage on these for the last six - still cheaper than the supermarkets and I genuinely do need the pencil sharpeners being a supply teacher. Never get them back once given to kids.

  • I ordered these and paid the full postage...still cheap enough, think it was around £3.50 with a sharpener...Delivery man came at teatime and gave me a parcel...a sharpener with a note saying the chocs are out fo stock but will be sent as soon as they come back into stock, hope they remember or I have bought a dear sharpener...lol...xx
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)
  • chocs are cheaper than tesco half price offer. even when you pay postage.
