Oh here we go again.
1) Someone posts a great deal
2) Everyone gets on the deal and are happy
3) Someone phones the company to say deal not working
4) Everyone calls that person an idiot
5) Someone uses the deal numerous times
6) That person tells everyone about using the deal numerous times often accompanied with a photo (this is sometimes a wind-up)
7) Everyone tells then they're greedy
8) Everyone starts saying how many/few deals they bought
9) Everyone starts on a sliding scale of what is taking the p*ss and what isn't
10) Someone writes a list like this
11) Someone says 'calm down - it's only MSE'
12) The deal gets withdrawn
13) Everyone pootles off until the next deal arrives and it all starts again.¿Alguien ha visto a mi nave espacial?
Biting is excellent. It's like kissing, only there's a winner.0 -
Doesn't bother me how many anybody gets, I just like to get a good deal (and I only got one and got charged £3.71)
What does bother me is that all these people benefitting from all these great deals don't know how to use the thank you button to the OP!! A quick click to say thanks doesn't take a minute!A small Thank You can make a BIG difference0 -
Surely it's up to the individual how many times that they use a deal or take up an offer, the same as getting a buy one get 2 free in tesco, surely on some items thats greedy as we'd only normally buy one but we all take the three as they're offered.
For the people who got lots of these well done, you obviously put the time in and the chocs are your rewards**** Itchin' for a glitchin' ****0 -
Oh - had to check but I had thanks them. I always try and thank people - even if its something I don't want.
Well my chocs will be for Xmas, son's 21st and raffle prize - so they will be saving me money and I won't be eating them.
I am a bit ambivalent about overuse of offers - one half feels not to take advantage and the other part thinks if they're not on the ball enough to close these glitches/offers its partly their own fault. If you sell online surely you would have people who could keep track of codes and offers etc - or if they really don't care then they shouldn't be surprised people take advantage.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
