You need 15 or more points to be placed in the WRAG. The Support Group is not points based, you need to meet one or more of the SG criteria. See the section marked Schedule 2/3 in http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2011/228/made/data.pdf

    Good evening everyone.

Many thanx to doggle & Capt.Scarlet for your help and replys. I hope Doggle is successful with his/her new claim for ESA. My son is currently treated as being in "enhanced care" by his mental health team. It would seem unthinkable that Doggle can be declined ESA. The SG criteria posted by Capt.Scarlet is of enormous help! Guess we are just waiting for the decision now, nothing is certain regarding ESA claims it would seem....

    kind regards..... dead_maus..

The ESA medics always come up with that I am fully fit for work, suffer from some minor level of stress & depression and does have a problem with embolisms but it is under control.
I even had one medical where they put down that I had never had any mental illness! They swore blind that they asked the question and my reply was that I had never had a problem. The question about mental illness in that test was never asked, but guess who they believed, it wasn't me. Maybe the drugs I take are sweets and the secure unit is really a Travelodge!

As for embolisms, I don't suppose being on Warfarin, Statins, Enoexparin and Clopidogrel means anything to them, even if you forget the surgery to remove some clots (missed signing on for 3 weeks and lost that money and had to make a new JSA claim)and heart tests that I have just had.

    Good evening all!

It would seem that the poor, sick and disabled people of this country are being persecuted and made scapegoats by this government for the country's current financial problems. To quote Mr Cameron "We're all in this together"; but some are more in it than others!....

Thats a very random thing to post before you get the results of your sons medical, most people wait till they fail before they blame the goverment and your wrong, it was Labour who introduced ESA, and who changed the winning posts again because to many people were passing ect, the condems have done nothing to make it worse yet (its hasnt gone through parliment yet)

    I'm on anti-psychotic drugs 3 times a day and strong anti-depressants.
I failed the ESA and am now appealing.
I have suicidal thoughts and aggressive behavior.
    I scored 0 points
I was asked if I could make a cup of tea, use a washing machine, watch the TV

Nothing to do with your ability to hold down and job and socialize with people.

Good luck to your son, but get all the help you can, if you have to appeal.

Its the same for everyone no matter the disability, making a cup of tea etc. to the goverment means that you can complete tasks and if you can do that you can work, I would love to know what job you can do if you can make a cuppa once a day and they dont ask the more important bit like did you remember to drink it, did you spill it etc.

how about when you are so depressed, you are almost catatonic and don't get out of bed and don't wash?
    Still get 0 points.
Some medical examiners don't listen and twist your answers.
    She did with me.

Totally true, with all disabilities they twist whatever you say to fit the computor programs multipul choice answers, they wont be offered choices for the above so they just tick anything.

What dosnt help is the fakers, they are the ones that have caused this, the ones who have been caperble of work for decades but instead have declared thay are too sick/disabled to work and with the internet it got even worse so something had to be done and unfortunatly the baby is going out with the bath water.
