definitely don't give up and admit defeat.... that's what they want you to do! Unfortunately with how the system works, those who need it most, are the ones most unable to fight their case.

I sent a letter of appeal for my case to go to tribunal, after 2 or 3 appeals.... and miraculously, I was awarded dla.... someone trying to get out of paying money out me thinks!

Thanks for all the replies. I called today and told them I'd like to attend the hearing, I also called the CAD and made an appointment with them.

Hoping they'll be able to help me prepare.

Thanks for the advice. It's appreciated.

    Hi Rev

It sounds like you already have enough on your plate! :(

Defo get help if you can I'm not familiar with CAD? I went to my local DIAL for help with my DLA appeal they were great and helped me with all the forms initially and one of their people came to the tribunal and sat in with me and everything. They do it all the time so can tell you what to expect etc. too which makes it less stressful.

ps. I was told that the people who process the claims for DLA etc. have targets like normal office workers so they have to refuse so many claims per month etc.

So don't take it personally neither! They are just looking for any excuse! ;)
