What was the old departure time and what is the revised departure time?

  • Hi

My original flights depart 10.30 arrive 14.50, return 12.25 arrive 16.40

then they changed to: depart 10.25 arrive 14.45, return 14.05 arrive 18.30

Now they are depart 09.55 arrive 14.15 return, 19.15 arrive 23.40!

  • What is the problem with the flight times? Are you out of pocket at all?

The thing is airlines like Thomas Cook can change flight times (reasonably) to fit their needs. With your return flight your getting nearly a full day extra at the resort anyway.

how long are you going for? if it's 7 or 14 nights, the flight times dont seem to fit in. however any odd duration could be different.

Charter airlines usually use a rule of thumb in their booking conditions that they can change flight times by up to 12 hours without offering the right to cancel or compensate. From the timings shown, it doesn't look as though you fall within the rules, so you are stuck. I agree that the late return, even assuming it is on time, won't be great for onward public transport or getting up for work the next day. As you have not bought a package holiday, the only option is to book new flights with a different supplier, strangely it is now more likely that low cost carriers will stick to flight times than the charter carriers, sorry
