Broken Virgin remote

After 5 years use, the remote control for our old Virgin tv box is not working as it should, some of the buttons are sticking and a couple of the numbers have completely worn off.
I called Virgin and a helpful chap said that he would order me a new one and that it would arrive within 7-10 days.
That was 2 weeks ago, so I'm not holding my breath! I can remember reading somewhere on here, that it's easier to order replacements through the Virgin website. Do I have to register on their forum? I cannot find an email address to contact them.
Thanks.

I'll call and double check that the remote has actually been ordered, I didn't recieve one with my new box, called to order on, range 4 days later to check, no order had been created! Great!:oGetting married 23rd June 2012!!:o0 -
That's what I'm thinking Donna, much as the guy on the phone was helpful, you can just never trust them to do what they say.
Will ring them now....wish me luck!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
Also dont forget a lot of the time when 7-10 days are quoted they actually mean 7-10 working days. So your only just at the latter end of this timescale. No harm in calling to make sure its been dispatched though.

If you see a VM van on the road, stop & ask the guy,we used to carry boxes of them as they no longer come with the cable boxes, they're a seperate stores item.0

Thanks for the tip, I'm sure that a Virgin guy works down the road, there's often a van parked there. I'll ask him!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0
