brooch/button/felt bouquets

Options
Can any of you lovely people please share any info on where you have seen brooch/button/felt bouquets for sale or advertised as a service, if you have been looking for them where have you researched and have you been disappointed with the quality or price? I have seen the the usual etsy/folksy websites but would like to find out about other options if there are any. Thanks in advance everyone.

I think they are sooo pretty but its not somthing i would have for my wedding but they defo suit a 'style' of person / wedding or maybe even a blessing or older couple marriage?

I really like this sort of thing:

I had my button bouquet from Liza on etsy (letters4lilly) and she was so amazing. Expensive but I would say worth every penny we spent. She kept me updated every step of the way and even sourced particular objects as buttons to be included, such as 2 cats, a toyota badge, the eiffel tower. I really can't recommend her highly enough :)http://www.etsy.com/shop/letters4lilly

The other alternative is to make your own. As my bouquet was so expensive and I wanted it to be unique to me, we decided against having Liza make the bridesmaids bouquets. Instead we made our own felt and button bouquets for the bridesmaids as well as the buttonholes for the gents. They weren't complicated at all and they look absolutely fab.

If you need any help or want to know anything else just ask :)

    Thanks Vikki :)

I made a couple of different bouquets for my wedding...
My main bouquet was made of tissue paper flowers; my MOH's bouquet was made of fabric flowers, and each of the materials had a family history behind them; I did matching buttonholes; and I started on a button bouquet, but never needed to finish it because things changed!

My colour scheme was rainbow but these can be adapted to all sorts of colour schemes. It's really flexible :)

I'm going to have a go at making my own! I know someone who did and is going to give me the guidelines she used. I'm going for a multicolour one I think!

Have a look through the thread on the first page about doing your own wedding flowers....lots of previous brides have made alternative bouquets and posted pics...using things like wooden roses...or buttons and felt flowers...they are dotted through the thread but there are some good examples...I know Twirly Pinky made her own felt bouquet and posted pics there and possibly Miss pixie...There have been some fabulous creations that have looked stunning
