Might the train be a possibility? Not a cheap option: e.g., http://www.greentraveller.co.uk/train-london-naples and you would need to enquire about the luggage (might cost extra) but it would save a very long drive of about 4000 km round trip.0

Hi All,
Well we have sorted it now!
1) Car will be driven to Germany where my (future) father-in-law lives as he is sending some classic cars to the wedding on a transporter. All our our 'stuff' will be loaded into the cars being transported.
2) My brother will then fly to Naples from Frankfurt and then back to the UK after the wedding with all the other guests.
3) My new wife and I will fly straight to Germany from Italy, spend a few days there then drive the car back to the UK. A much less stressful situation all round!0 -

Wow. That's a lot of logistics! Did you not think about getting married in the local registry office and a few drinks in the pub afterwards?! :rotfl:
Hope everything goes to plan.0
