Quinn Insurance being fraudulant to avoid paying out

I had a accident last year when my car was parked and somebody hit into the rear of the vehicle. I recorded him on my camera phone saying he would pay me £100.

The other person did not want to pay cash on the return from the Bank, so I called the Police who explained he should exchange details.

I then persuaded him to exchange details as failing to do so may give him a fine and even points for failing to exchange details.

I then instructed Solicitors and they went so far, until Quinn Insurance said I was fraudulant.

I then issued court proceedings myself and negligence was admited however they did not want to pay me the hire bill and also the car repairs as they assumed the car was somebody elses, and roadworthyness was argued.
I then sent a copy of the MOT, logbook, receipt and witness statement from previous owner.

I then got a offer of £250 from the insurance company and then a letter saying that it was not their fault and they had not infact touched the car.

Now the point is 3 fake engineer reports were made up.
1 report has my car, but does not talk about my car, instead valuing it at £0, scrap has a value.
Then their report says that their car was infact damaged on the side and not on the front as I state.
And the third report states that the car was mobile and not at the present address as it was assumed driven (it was infact in storage).

I am really looking for more people that have probably made a claim against Quinn Insurance and they have alleged fraud and even made up fake documents, I would like to get the company penalised.

I have also made a website which echoes this it is www.i-rbc.co.uk, so message me if your insurance company are accusing you of fraud.

  • You say you had a hire car..............was your own vehicle drivable even though it was damaged?????????? If so then they would not cover the hire costs anyway and nor would your own insurer...........

I cannot understand why you instructed solicitors when the insurers would have dealt with the claim without the need for a solicitor being involved..........are Quinn your own insurers or the TP insurers?????????

The first 'fake' report you mention you say just gives a £0 value...........they have to say why such as if the cost of repairs outweighs the value of the vehicle.........you do not mention how old the vehicle is or its pre accident condition so it is hard to tell why they have placed a fake value in it..........have you got copies of all three reports............normally if you were not happy with a report then you would be asked to submit evidence to prove that you believe that your car is worth more than what they are saying............

Have they told you why they believe the claim is fraudulent..................that is the biggest thing that concerns me here as you do not say why.............setting up a website is not the answer..........dealing direct with the insurer especially if it is your own and you go through the proper complaints procedure is..............

My car was mobile, however the boot failed to open, and a engineer stated that it was a exit, and therefore not driveable because a exit fails to open. Furthermore the I got the hire car to do shopping in and also when I had to go somewere like the airport.

"I cannot understand why you instructed solicitors when the insurers would have dealt with the claim without the need for a solicitor being involved..........are Quinn your own insurers or the TP insurers????????? "

My insurance would not deal with the claim because I was third party, and a solicitor seemed more appropriate as it puts more weight behind me.

The Reports are of my runabout cheap car worth about £500. My report shows the damage, however the third party vehicle shows no damage, despite admitting in his defence that he hit my car, and in the recording I took at the scene he says he would pay me £100.

No, I dont think so, they seem to say we will give you £250 and not the £800 I want. and now that I have received court documents it shows that they are trying to say I was driving the car.
Maybe they might be arguing that my car was not hit by there insured, even though he admitted fault at the scene
  • Quinn is not my insurance but is the third parties insurance.

I cannot make a complaint to anyone as the insurance company donot act for me.

The Police will take up their fraudulent activities if the documents are made upto scratch, however they ignore my letters when I say I would like the relivent engineer to sign the documents, with a name and relivant qualification to be added to the paper. Without the documents being signed they are useless pieces of paper.
  • How have you reached a value of £800.00????????? is that what you believe it is worth or what the book value is??????? Remember a total loss is taken as the value as at private sale not the forecourt price...........if your car is only worth £500.00 then asking for £800.00 is not acceptable to the insurer............

Even though you were not at fault your own insurers should have dealt with the claim on your behalf (unless you only have TPFT cover) not told you to automatically go to the TP insurers.............

Also though you recorded the TP admitting liability it would not be sufficient evidence to the insurer as in the same as court cases recorded info is inadmissible............

No, don't "remember" this advice - ignore it!

Most policies allow for the "market value" to be paid for a write off.

(Nothing to do with the "private sale" value!)

Market value is the cost to buy a similar replacement from a dealer (which would generally be higher than a private sale!)

Advice to OP - be careful what you post and what you identify about yourself (eg your username) because some clever lawyer may think you were being libellous.

The engineers estimate says the preaccident condition is £450 so I am happy with that, or a figure near that. the other costs are of hire costs when I took out a hire car, and cash in loo of hire etc...

    Thanks for the advise.
My name is a alias, I never use my real name online, I could even be female, but no Im not I am a guy.

I donot mind if they contact me as I am only publishing the truth, and if it is true then there is no reason why I cant publish it. However the company can issue a injunction, and then the court will need to decide if I should remove it or not.

I have worked in motor claims so know my facts thank you.............all total loss vehicle settlements are based on its pre accident condition as at private sale...............and that is all insurers go by that rule............

Working in motor claims means little for your credibility.

The info you are authoritatively stating (and repeating) here is quite wrong, and should be ignored.
