Is my dad cheating on my mum?

Just wanted to offer my sympathy really for what sounds like a really horrible family situation to be in. My Dad had been having a very long term affair that my Mum found out about when I was 21. Their marriage hadn't been working out for years - sleeping in separate rooms etc - and there was a horrible atmosphere in the house.

I might have been 21 and an adult when it all came to light but growing up in that atmosphere had a big emotional impact on me. Do whatever you need to do to look after yourself. Their relationship is their responsibility.
