Please help
I just booked flights for 12 people to go on a trip. Unfortunately I booked them the wrong way round- I booked them from Italy to UK instead of from UK to Italy. I am waiting on the phone to ryanair but when I tried to change it online it wanted to charge me £2000 to change them! What can I do? I don't know what they will say when I finally get through but has anyone any advice? Could myt credit card company help me?

They might be sympathetic, but they aren't known for it.
You'd probably be cheaper to forget the booked flight and rebook in the correct direction.
No, your credit card company doesn't protect you against accidental purchases (as, in effect there's nothing stopping you using the flights you've booked)
Please post the outcome from RyanAir - it would be good to hear they are being sensible and sorting it out for you.Legal team on standby0 -
Are you saying you booked one way flights ?0

Get back to them and see if an arrangement can be made to reduce the cost of the changes. Do it quickly because each day the number of seats reduces and the cost goes up. If that fails (again) then I think your only option is to try the press and media route.
Consumer champions might have more success such as those found in the weekend newspapers.I'm retiring at 55. You can but dream.0 -

Well here's a turn up for the books. After 10 calls - 8 of which got disconnected, 1 ende when the girl hung up the last one got me someone helpful who listened to the explanation and changed the flights for the grand total of 10 euro!! Couldn't believe it!! Apparently they have some sort of rule about calling within 24 hours. So glad I got it sorted so for once Ryanair did have good customer service!!0
