  • struck gold today a friend bought all of her old reusable nappys around for me (due son number 3 shortly..well today in fact!) so ive washed them all sorted out big from small, and thrown the dead ones away. i have used them before but freecycled the last lot..this has saved me a fortune! i love her.

made £12.56 in ebay sales..not much but i have a bid of £25 on some other things. will pop all that into my hsbc loan i think. have cut up my barcleycard visa today. Planning on making choc poferteroles for the first time tonight.

  • made the profeteroles got 15 out of the mix they cost about £2 to make, not bad but i cold make them cheaper i think i should replace the choc with frugal picked blackberrys that whould save about £1..plus i could pick extra for crumbles..just the boys keep eating them everytime we go and get some! Just been picking up my old survey sites i used to do so will re start those. i used to get maybe £20 every 2 months or so. I need to do my daily clicks on quidco again and ive just cashed in £25 of amazon vouchers from swagbucks i get about £25-£30 a year not much but i put it towards the kiddies christmas pressie..will look out for some deals closer to the time. Managed to get 2 huge bags of spinach on bog off..which i can freeze fresh so i got 6 normal size lots out of 2 bags..not bad for £1

had some reduced bargins at co op today £2.10 for a family pack of stewing steak, £1.65 for doz free range large eggs and £1.95 for a pack of 4 pork lions , Also won a pair of brand new boots £4.95 from ebay..mine are beyond repair now. Have decided to take drastic action..i will not buy anything new until my debt is clear, it either has to be free or if its really needed second hand. Payed out £20 from paypal to bank today which paid for ebay postage, boots and food and im now £10 up ..wow ..every penny counts though better off the debt than onto it again!

Todays frugal meal is chippolata casseole..chippolatas tend to be cheaper than thick sausages ive found
    2 chipolatas per person £1.35
    2 large potatoes 50p
i tin smart price beans 30p
1 tin of smart price tomatoes 40p
    onion 20p
other ingredents as below 40p approx

add to this some left over red lentils that need using up , some herbs and some spinich bung in slow cooker all day total cost for family of 4 £3.15

Congratulations on the birth of your son and welcome to diaryland. Have a look at the up your income board any DFW challenges as ways of increasing your income. The old style board can help with money saving ideas and the celebrations board is great for planning for birthday and christmas presents! good luck

Also have you checked whether you can move your debts to lower interest cards as that would make a massive difference to you if you could.... especially if you did it via a cashback site... like quidco
