Cheap Flights to New York (or close) from UK

Hi all,

Anyone know of any cheap return flights from the UK to New York (or an airport close to there). I am flexible with dates...

    My guess is the end of August/Sept flight sales will start soon, some discounted fares may even be loaded on Friday.

    https://www.ba.com usually start and other airlines follow. Don't expect £299 though more like £3** return, increases in taxes have increased base fares.

    I have found cheap'uns with Delta, KLM and AirFrance on http://www.netflights.com - Anyone got opinions (positive or negative) on this agent flight booking service please? I would hate to book and then be alerted that I have lots of extras to pay for...! :)

    Anyone know if these guys are reliable?! 1st choice is Delta Airways booked through NetFlights?

    Occasionally you get cheaper flights with Kuwait Air. Never tried them myself though!

    You say you can be flexible with dates and if you don't want to travel at peak time, then perhaps wait for the flight sales that are going to pop up soon. If you book Delta with netflights you'd have netflight's terms and conditions in addition to Delta's.

    Would agree totally with that comment.

    Never book through Netflights or Thomas Cook (who own them).
