Depending on the type of dashboard you have you could do what I've done......a patch of good velcro on the dash and one on the underside of the sat nav unit itself. Works absolutely fine, you don't have to wrestle it free from its stand (or walk around carrying the unit and stand with you), and thieves will not suspect a grubby looking splodge of velcro indicates a posh sat nav salted away somewhere. I know this won't work for all sat navs but it works a treat for mine.0

I found Tom-tom no help hence have gone Garmin with Garmin-lock,it is also much smaller easier to carry then tom tom GONE.
It's a bit HOT in the pocket !!!Do they normally run this hot!!
