USB 2.0 on laptop

hi i have a laptop which has simply got usb 1.0 ports. i am looking to find out best way to get usb 2.0 ports (prefereably externally)

You would have to get a PC card.

Nope as albertross said that they just push in and then you can pust a button to get them out.

I think you are thinking about the PCI card that fixes on the motherboard of a desktop.
