opinions4u and crazyguy, I didn't ask for opinions on budgeting. However, when I do require a sacastic response, you two will be on my list of whom to ask.
Others, thanks for your advice. :cool:0 -

If you "need" a PDL you need help with budgeting.0 -
Payday loans are a trap for the financially baffled to get in trouble with.
Think of them like sticky fly paper for the economically baffled."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -

These newbies are a real 'stroppy' lot when they don't like the advice and comments that they are offered. If they were any good with money they would not be asking on here. But of course they can't or won't see that.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

Unlike a lot of people, I know that the money will be there to repay it on time and I have considered all other options.
With that said, which is currently the best of the bad bunch?
I would agree that you should exhaust all other options i.e short term overdraft/borrowing for family/friends etc first, but if it is your only option then you are best to try and maximise your cashback via quidco etc to offset the interest paid.
My only word of advice is don't fall in to the trap of 'rolling over' the loan to the next month, this is when problems begin and you end up paying a fortune in interest.

I'm sorry, not everyone is on a wage where its possible to budget for emergencies; and even those who are, it takes time to build up some buffer cash. Once you find yourself in need of it, help with budgeting doesn't suddenly find it for you.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0 -
if your borrowing less than 31 days,.... wonga as they cahrge daily interest, whereas the rest charge a flat rate for the month...
Also some will want to verify employment, bank statements, where as Wonga;s is completed done by the PC, and money in 15minutes.Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0
