2 speeding fines for the same time & place

Options
I have had a speeding fine from an unmanned camera exceeding 50mph at the A537 near Wildboarclough on the 08/07/2011 at 10:38 & my recorded speed was 57mph but the problem is that I have TWO speeding offences for the same date & same time but one says 57mph & the other says 58mph but has two different reference numbers. I was wondering where I stand with this & if I can get off with it.

Thanks

Paul Hoddy

Well you can certainly get out of one of them. As for the other you'll need some expert advice.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Yes out go both: conflict of evidence is miss administration, especially when they claim accuracy to 0.05% .

I hope you have a good reason for breaking the speed-limit...
  • Thanks Vax2002. Do you think I could get off with the fine then if I go to court?

Does anyone know what happens when they send you x2 nip s for same time ,same day. Surely you can't be charged twice for same offence

Get over to pepipoo and post up full details (make sure you start your own thread).

But no, you can't be charged twice for the same offence.

Is it exactly the same time and camera? Could it be two different cameras close together -- there are a lot of cameras on that road as it is an imfamous place for born-again bikes to kill themselves and ocasionally other people.

As one who has just completed a Driver Awareness course, may I suggest that you stop speeding.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
