broadband cuts out when incoming phone call received

Can anyone offer advice re a problem I have had.

I replaced the router with a BT hub. Since then the broadband cuts off when we get an incoming phone call.

I have replaced the filters but still no luck.

The hub connects to the phone via an extension lead which worked ok with the previous router.

I had this trouble when using an adaptor to split the signal at one point. Once I got rid of it everything was fine. This probably doesn't help.

It must be something to do with BT hub but I don't know what that is or what it does.

Not sure about BT hubs... if you had ADSL only, i would have blamed the microfilters.
