been mild in Liverpool today a bit chilly this evening though.
  • My garden birds are expecting it to be mild - by this time last year the blackbird had stripped the masses of pyracantha berries which warned me to expect the worst, but this year she is leaving it alone and I have berries galore

My cats haven't put on the thick winter coats they had last year either ... although some years they grow them then have to moult them off quickly due to central heating!!!

Been a very mild October - beginning of November looks to carry on the same.

Further out than November is just too unreliable to forecast ;)

I see the USA got a very early dump of snow over the weekend - just helps show the weather can be early or late in temperate climates.

I'm making the most of it, lovely autumn colours at the moment :)
They had freak snowstorms in the North East USA over the weekend while the leaves were still on the trees. That must have been really strange. We usually get a taste of their weather a few days later... got your tender plants under cover yet?

Accurate prediction..... Winter will be colder than the summer was, Possibly not by a great deal though
    unless it gets really cold.

I predict the cold will end and it will get warmer for a short time but yet again not by much.

Now you know what and when to plant. Enjoy.
