Hi,
We have only just decided to upgrade a Halifax Platinum credit card to a Clarity card. The kicker is we start our 6 month trip on the 27th Aug.....less then a week:eek:. Is it likely we can get this done in time? If not is there a way we can push it through? Also this is my partners card so we are wondering if I can be added as a named person on the account and therefore get a secondary card? We were going to go with an STA card but the exchange rates are shocking!!! I myself only have a Natwest debit card which again is painful when it comes to withdrawing cash.Any help or advice on getting money abroad would be much appreciated. Like I said we have less then a week to sort this :doh:

I very much doubt you will get the cards in less than a week. I also don't think you can "upgrade" a current card. It would have to be a new application for the Clarity card which would normally take around 2 weeks to process.
It may be worth calling them to see if they can fast track it seeing as your OH is already a customer, but they won't guarantee getting the cards to you on time.0 -

Did you apply in branch or online? Did you get an agreement to sign and send back?0
