Letter of claim, with no name? no reg number?

Hi experts!
We got a letter today to our address from Gallagher Heath acting on behalf of British Gas. My wife had a non fault accident with British Gas last year and as a result had to continue to pay the preminums even though the car is no longer in use.
Appologies for my spelling!
Anyway she has 7 days left to pay and then she gets a full refund since the date she made them aware she no longer had the vehicle. Now as you know you have to pay in full if there were a claim, but there has not been until today?
Ok so the letter arrived with a list of costs and a breakdown.
The letter reads
Letter of Claim
We must hold you fully responsible for this incident you pulled out of a side toad into the path of our correctly proceeding vehicle.
Now there is no name on this letter, no reg/ vrm for our vehicle. Just the address and dear Sir/Madam.
What should we do pleaseeeeee?????

Pass it (and any others you get) on to your insurer unanswered, and they will deal with this. (You are also required to do this under the terms of your policy)0
-
as said pass onto your insurance -how wasn't it her fault if she pulled out of a side road and his the BG vehicle ?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

But the policy will be gone in 7 days when we are given a full refund, now the claim amount is less than the full refund, but if we do have a claim we get no refund. So in theory if I await the full refund and then pay the claim directly I would save???0

He was driving at 20 MPH over speed limit and she was already pulled out, she was half way so he didn't want to wait and the accident occured on the wrong side of the road in his case, therfore she argues why was he on the wrong carriageway. If that makes sense, not saying it's right that's just what happened, and the insurance arguement was to be as agreed with AA Insurance - but then there was no claim until now,0

Do you mean this claim you now have in from the third party?
Are you sure the claim amount you have made against you is full and final?
Bear in mind that you will have to declare this as a fault claim to future insurers if you pay it.0 -
This doesnt sound right, also the BG van would of had priority over your wife. If the police were called she may of got done for driving without due car and attention as per the road traffic act. Your insurance will settle as a fault accidentDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Speed is hard to proveDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0 -
Yes I agree with the fault, yes the claim has been sent to us directly. The cost is about 350.00 and this includes admin fees and so on, also lost time.0

just pass it straight to your insuranceDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I dont think they know who we are though and do not have our vehicle details nor the name, hence how can they prove anything?0
